6 months old baby Lab Puppy - needs a home - please help! (13 / Offering)

I\\\'m hoping someone will want this adorable lab puppy. She lives across the street from me very close to Biscayne Blvd. (and 63 St.) Her current \\\"owners\\\" had her for a few days and decided they don\\\'t have the time for her. She lives outside with no shelter-I bring her in from the rain whenever I\\\'m home. I also bought her a collar, as she was wearing a metal chain much too tight around her neck. I just know if I don\\\'t find her a home she will end up dead on Biscayne Blvd, as I have returned her to her yard on numerous occasions. I have two dogs and a cat in a 1 bdrm apt or I would keep her!!

I try to spend time with her to socialize her and walk her on the leash, etc. She is adorable! Bright, intelligent (she learns very quickly) and full of love. She is pretty much neglected emotionally, but is fed and I make sure she gets water, hugs, kisses and discipline. I\\\'m unsure of her age, but she doesn\\\'t have all of her teeth yet. (5-6 months maybe?)

Please forward this to everyone you know that may be able to help sweet little Coco. You may contact me if interested.

Thank you!

Please I need a new family!! I will always love you (13 / Offering)

Here I am back again, it is me Frankie. I knew it was too good to be true. I had found the perfect family for me. Two parents, two children and a kitty to be my pal. I know I am a little older, but I thought that the stars were finally shining on me. I had hit the jackpot. Chopped chicken for dinner, loveable children that shared their beds with me. Parents that were always home because their work was something that they didn\\\'t have to leave the house to go to. Walks and car rides and mostly , so much love. I couldn\\\'t keep up with all of the kisses. They even fed me Doritos. It was two months of heaven on Earth. And now: It feels like I have been through an earthQUAKE. One morning I woke up and I thought it was going to be another heavenly day with my people, and I found myself being placed in a car with my dad. Everyone was surrounding me and crying and giving me kisses and I was kissing them back. I didn\\\'t know that these were the last kisses I was ever going to get from my mom and brother and sister. My dad brought me to a gas station and put me into another car with a nice lady that I remembered from my old shelter. He gave me a big kiss and hug and then we pulled out of the station. I remember looking back at him and he was crying. We drove for many hours until we reached a familiar place. It was my old shelter. The place that I was originally taken to after I lived two years at a construction site. Everyone came out to greet me and gave me lots of hugs, but I don\\\'t want to be here. I miss my family so much. And I hate living outside again. I loved sleeping at night all curled up with my best friend brother in his bed. It appears that that was the problem, he evidently was allergic to me and now I can\\\'t be a part of their family. This wasn\\\'t my fault. They all loved me so much. I would love another chance to have a forever home. I am only 6 years yo ung and get along with everyone, dogs and cats. I weigh about 40 lbs and am perfectly house broken. I am back at Pet Rescue in Miami. Please don\\\'t make me stay here a long time again! Call my Best friend Kathy if you are interested in meeting me and taking me home to be a part of your family. Her number is 305-401-4693 and her email address is klcremer@aol.com.

Merlin - will bring magic back into your life! (13 / Offering)

Merlin is a 3 year old Shepherd mix. He loves to play with his toys, take a dip in the pool on a hot summer day and loves to chase lizards. He entertains himself with his toys, throwing the toy in the air and chasing it. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He loves a good massage from his human friends and enjoys playing fetch although he brings the ball or toy back in his own good time....after all there may be a lizard to chase on the way back. Merlin is a fairly easy-going young man and is housebroken. He was adopted into a home about a year ago and even went to work with his new family and helped to keep the office organized. Unfortunately, the other dog in the family decided she did not want Merlin around so sadly Merlin had to come back to his old homestead to wait for another wonderful home. Come by the shelter and meet this handsome boy.

The shelter is open daily from 11:30AM to 4:00PM. If you would like to see a cat or dog at the shelter, please call 305-621-8354 (voice mail) for an appointment to ensure the adoption counselor is on site. Adoption fees are $100 for dogs, $65 for cats (2 cats for the price of one cat) and is considered a donation to our shelter making it tax deductible. The adoption fee includes spaying or neutering, all shots and vet exam.

Please do not abandon pets at our shelter. Call 305-621-8354 (voice mail) and a volunteer will call you back to assist you in finding a place for your animal. It is important you speak to someone prior to bringing an animal to our shelter
